Garden of Tranquility

Welcome to our above ground ashes memorial garden, an area where your loved one can be placed inside a choice of two memorials.

This offers options if you are unsure what to do. The vaults can be used as temporary storage until you make a final decision on where to place your loved one, or as a final resting place.

The Sanctums hold up to two sets of cremated remains and are securely locked inside the vault with tamper proof screws. The Panorama holds up to three sets. All ashes are placed in a sealed polyurn to protect them from the elements.

The tablet on the front of either unit can be inscribed, and can include a photograph or a simple design. Each tablet comes with a basic inscription of up to 80 characters. Additional inscriptions can be added for more than one person, or if you would like to increase the amount inscribed on the initial order.

Corner units are also available. These still hold two sets of cremated remains, but give you the added room of a second tablet to inscribe, so if you are after more room for a longer inscription this may be the option for you.

These units are on a ten year lease, which can be extended at any time. Multiple vaults may be purchased, but we cannot guarantee they will be side by side unless they are purchased at the same time. If you wish to add extra years with your initial purchase, please add this to your basket at the time of purchase.

If you end the lease on the memorial, the tablet will be removed and you can keep it if you wish, but the lease of the unit will not be renewed and it will be free for someone else.

Please note that this area is still being developed and improvements are constantly being made. Four benches will be fitted for people to sit and reflect, and more sanctums will be added until the area is full. Once full, the garden will hold 174 sanctums, and the Panorama has 32 units available for lease.

Where a memorial is not renewed at the end of the lease, the ashes will be removed after the notice period and placed into storage at the crematorium for you to collect. If the ashes are not collected within six months of your final reminder, they will be placed in the Garden of Remembrance.
