Worcester Crematorium refurbishment work set to start

Final preparations are underway for a major refurbishment of Worcester Crematorium, which will see new electric cremators installed at the Astwood Road site.

The work begins on Monday 4 August and continues until summer 2026. During that time, funeral services are held at the KGV Hub in Ash Avenue, just seven minutes’ walk from Astwood Cemetery.

Astwood and St John’s cemeteries remain open as normal throughout the works, and our team is on hand to help with any questions.
